Eligibility
● The maximum funding given by the Foundation is USD 100,000.
● Indian nationals residing in India.
● Applicants must be under 30 years of age as of July 1 of the year of application.
● Strong academic performance is essential. Typically, applicants must have a first-class undergraduate degree.
● Relevant work experience in the chosen field may be advantageous
● Required minimum percentage/grade
❖ For Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Fine Arts, Architecture and related subjects, candidates must have a minimum academic grade of 65%, CGPA 6.8/10, or GPA 2.6/4 from a recognized university/institution.
❖ For Mathematics, Sciences, Environment and related subjects, candidates must have a minimum academic grade of 70%, CGPA 7.2/10, or GPA 2.8/4 from a recognized university/institution.
● It is essential to have prior admission to the institution and course chosen at the time of the application. The Foundation will not consider candidates without evidence of admission.
● Candidates who have an English language certification as a conditional part of their offer letter need to attain that certification before applying for the scholarship.
● Candidates having a postgraduate qualification (e.g. Master’s or PhD) from an institution abroad are not eligible to apply.
● Candidates who are already studying or have started their postgraduate education at an institution abroad are not eligible to apply.
What does the scholarship cover?
● Full or partial funding for tuition fees at overseas universities.
● A stipend to cover living expenses for the duration of the course.
● One-way travel expenses from India to the country of study.
● The scholarship may also cover other related expenses such as health insurance or supplies, depending on the individual needs of the scholar.

How to Apply?
● Make sure you have all the required documents before starting the application process.
● Upload all necessary documents through the Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation’s online application portal.
● If you are shortlisted, you will be called for an interview (typically in Mumbai or via video call).

The application window generally opens in February and closes in March each year.
